My journey began in Youngstown, Ohio, where a childhood immersed in storytelling kindled a fervent passion for amplifying voices that often linger in silence. The joy and love shared with family, huddled around the flickering screen during movie nights, and the awe-inspiring thrill of attending my first Broadway show stirred a profound understanding in me of the transformative power of narratives—capable of shaping hearts, inspiring change, and enriching cultures. This passion blossomed into a dedicated career focused on empowering brands and creatives to reclaim their authentic voices and broaden their impact in a crowded marketplace.
As a storyteller and screenwriter, I immersed myself deeply in the multi-layered backstories of characters, understanding that every name, every narrative, is imbued with significance—much like that of Liberated Works Media, LLC (LWM). Over the past year, LWM celebrated a significant milestone by becoming a proud BBB-accredited business, a badge of honor reflecting our commitment to quality and integrity. We enthusiastically sponsored a vibrant Boys & Girls Club of Joliet’s Annual Gala, fostering meaningful relationships with community members who share our vision. Our path took us into some of Chicago’s most captivating and innovative spaces, engaging with the Chicago Innovation Awards and Women’s Cohort, participating in the empowering InnovateHer Women in Tech, and contributing to thought-provoking discussions at the Public Narrative Conference. A particularly enriching experience was collaborating with the Chicagoland Chamber of Commerce and Old National Bank, where we explored Illinois’ film sector and its role in shaping a bright future.
