Liberated Works Media proudly celebrates Juneteenth, a day symbolizing freedom and diversity. Our distinct mission is to empower underrepresented voices and redefine the art of storytelling. We provide a vibrant space where diverse creators can thrive, crafting narratives that reflect the intricate fabric of our society.
Embracing Juneteenth: A Celebration of Freedom and Diversity
Juneteenth, a day of profound historical significance, marks the emancipation of enslaved African Americans. Also known as Emancipation Day or Freedom Day, Juneteenth commemorates the date Major General Gordon Granger arrived in Galveston, Texas, on June 19, 1865, to announce the end of the Civil War and the liberation of all enslaved individuals. This momentous event occurred more than two years after President Abraham Lincoln’s Emancipation Proclamation in 1863. Liberated Works Media perfectly aligns with this historical moment and pays homage to Juneteenth by celebrating this meaningful date while championing freedom, equality, and diversity.
Empowering Diverse Voices: Fueling Stories that Spark Change
At Liberated Works Media, we believe in the transformative power of entertainment to create positive change in society. As we celebrate this significant day, we invite you to join us in our mission to harness the power of storytelling for social good. Your stories have the power to shape a more inclusive, equitable, and empathetic world.
