Proven Results

The Work Speaks for Itself.

Why Work With LWM?

Visionary. Storyteller. Strategic Growth Partner.

Founder, Tamara Williams

Imagine a world where every story is told, every voice is heard

Liberated Works Media is a brand story studio in Chicago and helps founders, companies, and leadership teams clarify what they want to be known for and build stories that make their value easier to understand and remember.

The work spans brand strategy, positioning, thought leadership, executive storytelling, branded content, and narrative strategy.

Tamara brings more than 15 years of experience across brand strategy, marketing, storytelling, and creative strategy.

She works directly with founders, executives, and leadership teams to solve the strategic problem underneath the communication problem:

What should this company be known for—and how do we build a story people understand?

That work can take the form of brand strategy, positioning, thought leadership, executive storytelling, branded content, or ongoing brand leadership.

See what Tamara brings to the table!

Proven Impact Across Industries

The industries change. The strategic challenge is often the same:

Make the value clear. Make the story stronger. Give people a reason to pay attention.

Our work has included professional services, financial services, media, civic education, and founder-led businesses.

Award-Winning Digital Campaign — Tax & Civic Education

The challenge:
Tax policy is complex, especially during an election cycle. The goal was to help people understand what candidates’ tax proposals could actually mean.

The work:
Tamara helped develop the strategy and storytelling behind an interactive scorecard campaign that combined a custom print piece, mobile-first experience, video, and subscriber engagement.

The result:
The campaign generated 9.9 million impressions and received industry recognition.

Inaugural Impact Report —Professional Services | C-Suite Leadership

The challenge:
A professional services firm needed to tell its impact story for the first time while creating a report that reflected the organization’s leadership and values.

The work:
Tamara led strategy, competitive analysis, distribution planning, executive interviews, and the report’s tone and voice while working directly with the CEO, Chief People Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Diversity Officer.

Her strategic counsel also contributed to revisions to the firm’s brand style guide and language.

The result:
The impact report established a new platform for communicating the firm’s work, while the resulting brand language changes extended beyond the report itself.

Forbes BrandVoice — National Thought Leadership

The challenge:
Multiple subject-matter experts needed to contribute to a national thought leadership program without producing disconnected pieces of content.

The work:
Tamara developed content themes, story angles, messaging, and interview approaches that helped bring the experts’ ideas forward. She also developed the content audit and linking strategy.

The result:
The work created a more consistent body of thought leadership rather than a collection of unrelated articles.

New Jersey Banker Magazine — Financial Services | Executive Thought Leadership

The challenge:
A senior financial services executive needed to communicate a clear point of view through an industry publication.

The work:
Tamara developed the messaging and structure and served as strategist and ghostwriter, shaping the piece around the executive’s perspective and voice.

The result:
The executive’s point of view was published under their name and positioned within a respected industry publication.
